In front of your face
The cutting chord of physical flesh
The rumble and moan
Of the Storm so close
Are your eyes open?
Your ears engaged?
The darkest hour has past
And the light engages
Your senses
Do you see the light?
Cutting through the darkness?
Those that cannot love
Fall away and are forgotten.
They cannot duck the wire
And will not jump for their family that waits.
Reunion is just beyond
Revelation,
Revolution,
Reconnection,
Resurrection,
Those that duck.
