Please give me the phone number of any person's house in which one of these new meters was installed. Or have the person contact me using the information below. I will be happy to come over to their house with my measuring equipment and verify if there is a reason for concern. The meters I use will not lie, and will verify if there is indeed RF (radio frequency) radiation coming from the meter.
When I asked the power company about this, they said something like it was "infrared", which could be measured from the vehicle of the meter reader, but not radio frequency. However, I understand that there are differing stories, and the power companies are not to be trusted. So this is why I rely on using my own measuring devices.

I am hearing of direct experiences, from Peggy’s email yesterday and now Loree’s today, that Pacific Power is taking opportunities where they can find them to put AMR, Automated Meter Readers on people’s homes. (See recent email from Loree this AM, and Peggy’s yesterday on MSMAG.)
Please be aware and do your research like Peggy did. For me, I believe an AMR/Digital Reader is a form of Smart Meter.
Do your homework and don’t allow those in the business of selling electricity skew you into doing something without knowing for sure what it is. Get information from sources other than those who are in control of the device, they are wanting to place on your home.
They are about providing electricity and making money.
