Israel bombs Gaza tunnels as Palestinians try to cross border into Egypt
r, Palestinians supportive of the uprising are reported to be using the smuggling tunnels, which serve as Gaza’s lifeline, to get into Egypt. Israel, a staunch supporter of Mubarak’s repressive regime, is reported to have responded by bombing the tunnels. No casualties have as yet been reported.
