The Trump administration has already put forth a budget for 2020 and it includes a variety of things that the Democrats are already calling out. The budget includes some cuts and some expansions in areas. Here are 5 things in Trump’ proposed 2020 budget:

1.) Wall Funding

The proposed budget on the wall is an additional $8.6 billion in funding. This would give him around $18 billion in total for the wall when combined with other funds he has raised.

2.) Cuts to Foreign Aid

A major issue in the proposed budget is a cut to foreign aid, this cut is estimated to be around $2.5 billion dollars. This is meant to offset the increase in border spending for the fiscal year.

3.) Increase for Veterans Healthcare

Trump wants to put $80 billion towards healthcare for veterans. This is a 10% increase from this year. This extra money would help in employment assistance as well as suicide prevention.

4.) Welfare Cuts

The administration wantsto take defense spending from $716 billion to $750 billion. This 5% increase in spending is not a-typical but is already being criticized by many on the left.
