HEARING TO DETERMINE RELEASE OF EVIDENCE RELATING TO AVIATION SECURITY OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 (See Press Press Release Below)
What many want to see....as part of any renewed investigation of what really happened on the morning of 9/11, are the roles of government and the NORAD exercises that were in full operation that morning.
Several bogus computer generated radar targets were being used for training/intercept exercises for U.S. and Canadian Air Force jet fighters during the time of the actual hijackings.
The fake computer generated radar targets were a matter of concern by air traffic control, as four real radar targets were tagged (by controllers) as (actually) hijacked. Part of the exercise (that morning) included the the fake targets being used as missiles heading towards New York and Washington. Was this a coincidence??

It is important to note: NOT one of the four hijacked airliner's pilots selected the official (four digit) hijack transponder code for all controllers to immediately identify. ALL pilots are trained to either select the code immediately, or by two other methods of which none were used.
At 08:40 AA77 was asked to change their transponder squawk code, moments before it was determined that American 77 was being hijacked. (Usually) the reason for changing a code is because another aircraft in the system has the same original code that is issued upon receiving an ATC clearance at the departure gate. Coincidence?
None of the four separate hijackings selected the international hijacking code, which is a complete breakdown of what has always worked in the past.
In addition, only one "black box" was recovered from four airliners, or was it "two found?" The "Official 9/11 Report" by the 9/11 Commission stated "None were found." Black boxes have always survived crashes.

Air traffic controllers were confused that terrible morning, as well as NORAD, and still today, many Americans are confused and want answers.

The families in three remaining aviation security negligence cases, represented by Motley Rice LLC and led by attorney Donald Migliori and joined by The New York Times Company and the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press (RCFP), maintain that this evidence has broad safety implications, public-interest, substantial historical importance and that the defendants abused the conditions of the protective order by which defendants have asserted confidentiality. Therefore, this evidence should not remain shielded from the public. The surviving family members who have filed this motion, and will be present at the hearing, include Mike Low, father of American Airlines flight attendant Sara Low who was on Flight 11 as well as John and Paul Keating, sons of Barbara Ann Keating, a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11. The New York Times Company and the RCFP have intervened in the case jointly and will be represented by counsel at the hearing as well. These families first sought to have the court-confidentiality order removed in 2007. Later the request was withdrawn as both sides tried to negotiate a resolution. That effort failed in 2008. These families renewed their motion on January 14, 2009 and the news organizations moved for leave to intervene on January 21, 2009.When:Wednesday, March 25, 2009Hearing 4:00 p.m. EDTCourtroom 14 DInterviews Available Immediately FollowingWhere:United States District CourtSouthern District of New York500 Pearl StreetNew York, NY 10007-1312###Alicia G.
