ESU (JESUS) IMMANUEL CONFRONTED SAUL, HIS WORST ENEMY, ONE LAST TIME ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS, SYRIA

After Saul’s attempted murder of Esu in Jerusalem, Esu fled to Damascus, Syria, with the help of family, friends, and his mother, Mary, who vowed never to leave his side.

After living in Damascus for about two years, Esu sent a messenger to Galilee to find his brother, Thomas, his disciple, Thomas, and his best friend, Judas Iscarioth.   In two months, Judas and disciple Thomas arrived.  They told Esu his brother, Thomas, had left for India via camel caravan.

They, also, told Esu of the terrible persecution of his followers and disciples in Jerusalem by the Pharisees and Saul and his Roman soldiers. They arrested anyone that believed in Esu’s new teaching and killed them.  Saul was foaming with rage against Esu, and had sent letters to the synagogues in all countries that anyone following Esu’s new teachings would be arrested and brought to Jerusalem to be put to death, man, woman and child.

Esu said that Saul is coming here to Damascus even now, for he is following you, Thomas and Judas, to arrest you.  Do not be afraid!  I shall confront him before he reaches Damascus.

Esu then went to see a friend, who helped him with secret powders, salves, liquids and chemicals.  Taking these supplies, the two of them set out on the road to Galilee that Saul was traveling.  They hid in the cliffs along the road about one day’s travel from Damascus.

While they waited, they prepared a concoction of chemicals.  During the second night a group, including Saul, approached the cliffs along the road.  Esu stood on a large rock outcropping, struck a fire to the chemical mass and threw it in front of Saul.  Esu shouted loudly, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute my disciples?”

Terrified and blinded by the chemical bright light, Saul fell to the ground and cried out, “Who are?”  Esu answered, “I am Immanuel whom you persecute in in your hatred, as you do my disciples.  Get up and go into the city, and let ones teach you according to how you are supposed to live.”

In three days, Saul regained his vision.  Esu sent a disciple to teach Saul the “new teachings”, but Saul’s sprit was confused.  Saul claimed reformation and began preaching confused things to the people.  At that point Esu changed Saul’s name to Paul.
